Research

I am interested in how, through the method of science, we can answer questions important to patients. I have therefore engaged with research throughout my career, leading to publications in good peer-reviewed journals, including Neuroimage: Clinical, Cerebral Cortex and the BMJ. My publications span the full range of clinical case reports, case series, reviews, and first author original research.

My active areas of research include:

  • Dizziness and small vessel disease;
  • Cerebral small vessel disease and balance control;
  • Detection of cerebral venous thrombosis using plain head CTs.
