Scope of practice

My scope of private neurological practice is similar to my outpatient NHS work. I therefore see, make diagnoses and initiate the medical management of patients with the following types of neurological problems: dizziness and balance disorders;

  • epilepsy;
  • headache (e.g. migraine);
  • movement disorders (e.g. Parkinson’s disease);
  • neuroinflammatory disease (e.g. multiple sclerosis);
  • neuropathy;
  • stroke (excluding transient ischaemic attack, or acute stroke).

Please note that in my private practice, I do not currently offer Botox for chronic migraine.
